Agreement to Terms

By using MiniTree, you agree to these terms

By accessing and using MiniTree ("the Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

Self-Hosted License

MiniTree is a self-hosted platform

MiniTree is designed to be deployed on your own infrastructure. By using the Platform, you acknowledge:

  • You are responsible for hosting and maintaining your instance
  • You own all data stored in your deployment
  • You are responsible for securing your deployment
  • You must comply with all applicable laws and regulations

Acceptable Use

How you may use the Platform

You agree to use MiniTree only for lawful purposes. You may not use the Platform to:

  • Violate any local, state, national, or international law
  • Distribute leads without proper consent and compliance (TCPA, GDPR, etc.)
  • Engage in fraudulent activities or misrepresent lead data
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other systems
  • Transmit malicious code or malware

Compliance Responsibility

You are responsible for regulatory compliance

As a lead distribution platform, you must ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including but not limited to:

  • TCPA (Telephone Consumer Protection Act)
  • GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)
  • CCPA (California Consumer Privacy Act)
  • CAN-SPAM Act
  • Industry-specific regulations (financial services, healthcare, etc.)

MiniTree provides tools to help you manage compliance (consent tracking, data handling), but ultimate responsibility for compliance rests with you.

Service Availability

Platform uptime and support

As a self-hosted platform:

  • You are responsible for your deployment's uptime and availability
  • We provide software updates and bug fixes as available
  • Community support is available through documentation and forums
  • Commercial support may be available separately

Intellectual Property

Software license and ownership

MiniTree is provided under an open-source friendly license. You may:

  • Use the software for commercial purposes
  • Modify the source code for your needs
  • Deploy unlimited instances

The MiniTree name, logo, and branding remain the property of MiniTree and may not be used without permission.

Disclaimer of Warranties

Software provided "as is"

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

Limitation of Liability

Limits on our responsibility

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

Changes to Terms

We may update these terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. We will notify users of material changes through the Platform or via email. Your continued use of the Platform after changes indicates your acceptance of the new terms.
